Recounting Memory Project launches 1st Exhibition at Mott Community College Library
Recounting Memory: Flint-Area Holocaust Survivors
& Youth Dialogue with History
The Recounting Memory exhibit features the oral histories from Flint-area Russian Holocaust survivors and excerpts of student reflections along with other historical materials.
Local high school and Mott College art/design students participated in gathering the stories from five area Holocaust survivors from the former USSR.

You can also purchase an accompanying book by the same name. It includes full stories from the interviews, essays by students and others, and photographs. All net proceeds go to support Jewish Community Services in Flint, Michigan.

22nd Annual Donald Riegle Community Service Award
